Origin of the name
The name “SAKUPAWA” comes from the cherry blossom, which is deeply connected to Japanese culture.
Cherry blossoms are known as a symbol of happiness and congratulations, and have a light, positive image.
Cherry blossoms bloom…from there, the word “saku” was associated, and at the same time, the word “power” was combined to form “SAKUPAWA”.
It aims to be a place where people respect each other in a traditional cultural experience, a place to share the positive energy that makes life brighter, and a place that can be a power spot for everyone.
Thus, the word “SAKUPAWA” was born to symbolize Japanese tradition and positive energy.
Our Thoughts
We want to encourage foreigners visiting Japan as well as the younger generation in Japan to experience, understand, and feel traditional Japanese culture.
Although there are aspects that cannot be conveyed in English alone, we hope to provide opportunities to experience the spirit and language of Japan beyond the language through traditional cultural experiences.
